HIRONO Reshape takes Lang Hu's quiet, slightly bruised boy and rebuilds him out of found and broken things. Each of the nine regular designs reads like a small diorama: a kid stuffed into a homemade cardboard rocket, another dipped in gold paint, one sprouting mushrooms, one carved from wood. The mood is melancholy but tender, and the textures do most of the talking.
